Takeda Books Indie Dark Comedy

This week, TV/Film actor Scott Takeda is in rural Illinois shooting the SAG-AFTRA indie dark comedy “Solutions,” written and directed by Dan Aid. The film stars Bill Dawes (A24’s “Mo”), Ashley Rae Spillers (HBO’s “Vice Principals”) and Charlie Talbert (Francis Ford Coppola’s “Megalopolis”). Takeda supports as Alfred, the overwhelmed lawyer.

“This is a wickedly funny script,” said Takeda. “I love when I can work on projects because it’s such a very specific vision and story. This is one of those kinds of projects because here we are in the middle of the country in winter because this is the funniest way to tell the story. I can’t wait to see the final cut.”

Look for this film on the festival circuit starting 2027.
